Alpaca Fibre:
- is lightweight and incredibly soft
- has less prickle factor than most other animals
- has excellent insulative or thermal properties
- is 30% warmer than the same weight of merino wool
- contains no grease, oil or lanolin and does not smell
- can be carded and blended with other natural fibres
- alpaca fibre comes in 22 different natural colours
- white, silver, all shades of grey and fawn, browns (milk to dark chocolate & mahogany reds), black (including jet black)
- if you want to extend that range, alpaca fibre will dye beautifully
We have raw fleece in a variety of colours and a limited amount of spun fibre (both hand and commercially spun) available for sale.
